REFLECTION ON PSALM 23.

Psalm 23:1-6 KJV. "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever". Have you taken the time to reflect on the wordings of Ps 23 above? We serve an awesome God, who is always there for us as our shepherd, our leader, our provider, our restorer, our protector. He supplies all our needs, he anoints us to be more effective for his work. It doesn't matter how many fiery darts the enemy throws at us in a given day, the power of God wards them off and we escape unharmed. Even if they harm us physically, spiritually we are unharmed, we remain standing knowing who we believe in that he is able to keep us until that day. In him we live and move and have our being. We don't have to fear any evil as long as we are trusting in him and obeying his Word. He is a great God!!!.
