"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things". Phil 4:8
We are to resist the devil and he must flee, so we don't have to entertain any wicked thoughts from the whispering demons.
It is important that we are aware when those negative thoughts come and recognize it for what it is, the enemies distraction and take authority over it immediately and silence that demon in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We are told to cast down every imagination to the obedience of Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:5
The word of God says in Jn 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly".
satan is a thief, a criminal, a liar and a murderer therefore should not be entertained at all in anyway.
We need God's super abundant grace to resist the devil, the enemy of our soul and he must flee in Jesus mighty name.
Let us trust our heavenly Father through his Son, Jesus Christ to sustain us to the end.
PRAYER;
Heavenly Father, we thank you today and always for revealing yourself to us through your Son, Jesus Christ. We thank you for the privilege of studying your word, help us oh! Lord to apply your word to our daily lives, to live for you in spirit and in truth and in holiness that we may be able to resist the devil in all areas of our lives through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. AMEN!
